Easy Homemade 12" Pizza
Out one day wondering, thinking of something to eat, Salvatore and son wanted something quick, easy to make at home - here's what that afternoon's thought came about....
Easy Homemade 12" Pizza

1       Commercial 12" thin & crispy or thick
         (pizza crust)
1       Cup Brignola Marinara Sauce
Sliced pepperoni (turkey, beef or Italian)
         - amount per your preference
1       Cup sliced mushrooms (if fresh, you can
add as is or sauté them with cooking oil
for 5 minutes or you could use button
mushrooms from a can, slice and use
         as is).
2       Cloves of garlic, finely chopped
8       Ounces shredded low-fat mozzarella
         cheese
8       Ounces shredded parmesan-romano
         cheese
Prepare pizza crust per package directions (we spread about 2 tsp of olive oil over crust before adding sauce).  Top crust with Brignola Marinara Sauce, leaving about ~¼" border.  Top sauce with garlic and sliced mushrooms.   Sprinkle garlic and sliced mushroom layer evenly with mozzarella and parmesan-romano cheeses.  Preheat oven to 500°.  Bake pizza at 500° on middle of rack for about 20 to 25 minutes or until crust is golden brown and cheese melts ( all ovens are different - check doneness till you find your pizza time and temperature).
